Right from the start I'm curious as to where this is going. I can see myself in the character's and compelled to read more, and faster. Halfway through I'm finding myself turning the pages faster as I consume the evocative story as it unfolds. If you are looking for a great short story that gettings you thinking with a big ah hah moment at the end, then get this one! This short story kept me guessing the whole way! I'm still processing the complexity of the different layers that unfolded. January Rain's story caused my brain to be engaged as it doesn't always have to be when I read less thought provoking material. I definitely would read more of this!
A complex, interesting short story. The author really digs deep into explaining things- you can picture the actions of the characters vividly in your head. It started a little bit slow but really had me hooked by the end. I'd enjoy reading more!
